Deposit Policy

Appointment retainers, referred to on this site as "deposits" for appointments, are collected to ensure service availability at the time of booking, provide custom products for you, and secure the time slot. The full amount is applied to your service ticket when services are rendered.

If for any reason we are unable to provide services, you'll be contacted to reschedule immediately. If we need to reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, you can choose whether the deposit is refunded back to you (and the appointment is cancelled), or if you want to reschedule your appointment and the retainer is transferred to the new time slot.

If you reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours notice, your deposit will automatically be transferred to the new appointment time. If you cancel your appointment with at least 48 hours notice, your deposit/retainer will be refunded back to you immediately* (*on our end - your bank may take longer to refund you, and that's out of our control).

If you cancel your appointment in under 48 hours before the service visit, the deposit is retained by ColorWorkz Hair + Healing and will not transfer to the new time slot. In order to schedule a subsequent appointment, you'll be required to make another deposit to hold the appointment, and the same rules apply. There are no refunds of your deposit amount with less than 48 hours notice of appointment change.

If you choose to reschedule in under 48 hours, your deposit/retainer will transfer ONE TIME only. If there is a second occurrence of rescheduling in under 48 hours, your deposit/retainer will be held and is non-transferrable to another time slot. You will be required to place another deposit/retainer to reschedule.
